In the very beginning of the rheumatoid arthritis saga in the summer of 2012, my partner and I were trying to figure out what to do. We were hedging our bets by kind of doing it all–seeing a rheumatologist AND a functional medicine MD, but I knew we were eventually going to come to a point where a choice had to be made.
